Green cape lighthouse

January saw Olivia and I take trip down the South Cost to visit Green Cape Lighthouse. It is a heritage-listed lighthouse located at the tip of Green Cape, a headland forming the northern boundary of Disaster Bay, in southern New South Wales, Australia. It is the southernmost lighthouse in New South Wales and Australia's first lighthouse built in concrete.

Although it was a clear day and the sun was high, I till enjoyed capturing the shapes the shadows created.

Coalcliff sunrise

I enjoy early morning and the great sunrise opportunities it brings.

The shot was taken at one of Illawarra’s quieter beaches, Coalcliff. Loved the suns reflection glistening on the water.

Vivid Sydney

Vivid Sydney is the world's largest festival of light, music and ideas. Every year the City of Sydney is illuminated with projections of light telling stories, highlighting the better known places around Sydney harbour.

It’s always busy and you need to wait your turn to get a vantage point to take a photograph, but well worth the effort.
